Romantic Rain & Free Coffee

There is just something especially "romantic" about a cool rainy day in early autumn! I get a wonderful feeling about it. A rejoicing in my heart!
Maybe it's because I have had many wonderful life experiences around this time of the year. Maybe it's because it is back-to-school time, and I don't have to go! Maybe it is a natural feeling that we get as the Creator's children, over the phenomena of the changing of seasons and His masterful handiwork? Does it affect you this way also?
I went out a bit ago for a second breakfast, of sorts. I stopped by Starbucks for a coffee. I was in no hurry. I was listening to a nice teaching tape, a very relaxing wait. When I got up to the window, the gal said that it was "on them", because I had to wait too long. I didn't think it was that long at all. I don't mind paying for things! And, it was only near one dollar. None-the-less, even little things like that make you feel blessed! I thought maybe I was on a roll, so I stopped by McDonald's... However, there they made me pay.

this is whI have read this morning and have been really meditating on thes for a couple of weeks now: Isaiah 32:18 says that my people will dwell in a peaceful habitation in quiet resting places. My prayer is for each on of us to be still and focus on the Lord Jesus to be at rest and peace within yourself.Isaiah 26:3They will be in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on him ( whose focus is on the Lord) also Isaiah 32:17 says the WORK of righteosness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness assurance forever. Not that we really have to work because he makes us righteous dwelling with us . But the effect of Him dwelling on the inside , how awesome to think of just his presence keeping us at rest.Yes it takes work by reading his word and gaing understanding the power on the inside of each one of us. Finally Psalm 46:10 say Be still and know that I am God. Just be still be at peace, be at rest, don't let the world get the best of you . Take it from me
