Silver & Gold
are a
Part of Salvation (2)

What is the number one thing that you would want money for?

Malachi 3:6-14

6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

THE ROAD OF DILIGENCE

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (KJV)

Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. (NCV)

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (NIV)

Faith has to do with

1) Unseen things in the present.

a. God’s Word tells me that these things are.

b. I accept it as true and commit to it.

c. Something (Faith) rises up on the inside of me and convinces and assures me that they are!

Example: For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

2) Unseen things in the future (hope)

One aspect of Faith is living life now for the future!

Mark 16:15

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Mathew 28:18

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In our mission to share the Gospel and lead people unto salvation and to the following of Jesus (disciples)…

One thing is common… in these two passages.

Releasing the Power of Your Testimony

Revelation 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Overcoming satan in our own lives, and in the lives of others as well!

Our testimony is telling someone else in our own words, from

our own experience, what God has done for us!

Our testimony becomes a visible manifestation of the works of the unseen God!

Satan tells people, “there is no God, and that God does not work”!

Our testimony says that, “HE DOES”!

Acts 1:8 – Releasing the dunamis via our testimony!

When the Holy Spirit comes upon us. We are given dunamis

(miracle working power of God). Jesus says as a result, we become witnesses in the earth, and in this world!

Sharing our testimony with others is one way that the Divine power is released through and from us!

The book of Acts = Grk. =“Actions/Deeds” The book of Acts is a record of:

From Pastor Rick Ives –
Fellowship Christian
Church

Statistics show that in America and most other countries, 60-70 % of people who make a profession of
faith in the Lord walk away from faithfulness to the Lord within the first 3 months of
their being born again.

The harvest is not being preserved by the church. Some churches do a good job at evangelizing and
winning souls. Most churches however, lose most of the people they win, as seen in
the statistics above.

The reason is that the new believer often has difficulty breaking into the culture of
the church and often succumbs to doubt, discouragement, and temptation before being established in a support network in the church.

Statistics show that new believers going to churches that are primarily large group and program oriented
take up to 12 months to feel comfortable in their church. For churches with cell groups,
this plug in time for new believers is only 5-6 months.

You are free, You can choose

John 8:31-3231 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Live (“Abide”) in the Word of God, as Peter also exhorted… by adding a steady stream of knowledge to your faith, continually.

The Words of God are filled with Divine knowledge. When you come to know the Truth. Or, when the Word is revealed to you (proverbs calls this getting understanding)...

... then the wisdom that is contained in the Words of knowledge is released into your heart and soul. Proverbs says that this is a very pleasurable thing. (cf. 2:10) When wisdom comes into your heart and soul you are then inspired to action.

Hence, when you come to “know” (intimately) the Truth, it releases the chain reaction that inspires and leads a person freedom!

They Came to Hear His Word - 3

Luke 6:17-19

17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

We are calling on and believing God for a revival of people flocking to churches for the sole purpose of finding Jesus, hearing the Word of God and to be healed of their infirmities!

Jesus is the same now as He was then!

They Came to Hear His Word!

Luke 6:17-18

To hear the Word of God!

To be healed of their infirmities!

This is really what the church service is all about!

The Bible says that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus said that where two or more of us would gather together in His name that He would be there in our midst... doing the same things that He did two-thousand years ago!

The people and His disciples would bring people to hear His Word and to be healed of their infirmities!

People would come to where Jesus and His disciples were gathered to hear His Word and to be Healed of their infirmities!

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit

John 3:16Jesus came to give the gift and promise of eternal life.

Luke 3:16He also comes to “baptize” us with the Holy Spirit.

Baptism is the picture of a dipper or ladle being submerged into a container of water and withdrawn.  It is now coated or enveloped with water. It is also saturated and filled with water.

Jesus, by baptizing us with His Holy Spirit coats, envelops, saturates and fills us with His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God.  Therefore Jesus gives us, in a sense, a whole new “atmosphere” to live within.

 The atmosphere of God!

The atmosphere around you and upon you and within you!

The atmosphere of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ. We could also say “the world of” Holy Spirit…

All of the writers of the New Testament spoke with other tongues through the Holy Spirit.

As you are filled with the Holy Spirit you can also speak with other tongues! YOU CAN!

While you are not filled with the Holy Spirit “just so” you can speak, pray, sing and bless with other tongues; By the Spirit’s enabling you certainly CAN!

How do we motivate and influence people?

From here to there!

How do we motivate people in spiritual matters when…

 1. 2 Thessalonians 3:2 – All men do not have faith!

 2. 1 Corinthians 2:1-3 - They are interested in spiritual

things but not spiritual. Or not having the operation of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

 3. 1 Corinthians 1:14 - they are out of touch with the Holy     Spirit.

Healing: Whose choice is it?

Matthew 6 .9 à Daily Prayer

Daily Bread Pt.3

We need to go before the Father everyday and receive from Him our daily provision because:

 A. Everyday is a new day – things change, people change,  everything in this world changes.  (because it is not Eternal) (the opposite of the world trend)

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.   2 Corinthians 4:16

 B. The Lord knows the challenges that you will face in a day   before you face them, and He will alert and prepare and guide you.

Please tell me that I can get everything there is to get from God and everything that everybody else can get by doing nothing and putting forth no effort!!!

Other places "whole" signifies - healed completely, all the way through, in every part.

This is the “limit” of God's Salvation!

“The Foundation of Praise”

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.   Psalms 150:6

Praise is celebrating, boasting, lauding the Lord. Worship is bowing and surrendering to revere and follow the Lord. The foundational behavior of a Believer is praise and worship!

 1) Praise comes naturally as you draw close to God and come to know Him.  I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth [praise is born]: my flesh also shall rest  in hope.   Psalms 16:8-9

2) Praise comes from within the human person. I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; ...so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.   Isaiah 61:10-11 (KJV)
