A word from our pastor...

No matter who you are God has a PROMISE for you!

A PROMISE to love you, to save you, to help you, and to be with you!

In fact, God has made thousands of life-giving, life-saving PROMISES to those who will humbly come to Him and follow Him.

A PROMISE is an absolute insoluble guarantee personally to you from God that He will do for you whatever He has stated in His Word (The Bible, His Promise).

It is not necessary for God to make "promises", for it is actually impossible for God to lie or not follow through on His "word".

Yet the Bible says that He makes PROMISES to us because He knows that a PROMISE to the human psyche and spirit becomes like an anchor for our inner man to hold onto when things get tough and circumstances seem contrary.

God is a God of Love, a God of Comfort, a God of PROMISE!

A Promise Note...

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. (v.18).

In yesterday’s service we spoke of El Shaddai (Gen 17).  Our God is the Mighty God, the ALL Mighty God in fact!

In that, He is exceedingly abounding and bountiful towards us.

And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.   Gen 17:2 (KJV)

This Paul (by the Holy Spirit) echoes:

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,   Eph 3:20 (KJV)

 Our Expectations

Luke 6:17-19

17 … and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Matt 18:20

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

God’s purpose for the church gathering is to provide a place where Jesus can come to meet people and to minister to them just as He did when He was here on earth two thousand years ago.

Jesus has not changed! His purpose, His reason, His ministry is still the same!

We are calling on and believing God for a revival of people flocking to churches for the sole purpose of finding Jesus, hearing the Word of God and to be healed of their infirmities!
